The Day Before Big Chicken Day * Pics

Hello My Friends,

It's 70 right now in Land O Lakes, FL. We're expecting a high of 82, sunny and lovely. I've already been to the market and back but I need to make one more trip to the liquor store. Then I'm all set for tomorrow.

No big gang this year. Just my daughter, a married couple who are good friends and myself. All of us have been in seclusion except for essential trips with masks. My daughter is driving down with Gus, my dog grandson and I know she'll only stop carefully. It had looked like she was not going to make it but last evening at cocktail time with my BFF she called and said, "I'm coming!"

She's already sanitized her car, house (for the cat sitter) and done most of her packing. It's a good 10 hour drive but she's young. Piece of cake for her. She has her kayak and paddle board on the top of her SUV. I probably won't see all that much of her after Thanksgiving. She loves taking them out to the ocean and the inter coastal waterway.

Still, it will be nice to have her around. We love to cook together. I've stocked up on Menage A Trois Prosecco. Both one of our favorite bubblies

So what's the menu for tomorrow?

Appeitizers...olives, stuffed celery, smoked salmon with crackers and cheeses.

Roast Turkey and Gravy, The Big Chicken as Ina Garten calls it..

Some kind of stuffing, either traditional or my daughter's fav...cornbread.

Mashed potatoes with garlic and dill

Southern Sweet Potato Casserole.

Fresh Cranberry Sauce

Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Scalloped Oysters (of course)

Chicago Rolls

Pumpkin Pie

Pecan Pie Both homemade of course.

Fresh Whipped Cream

Maybe some homemade Egg Nog too.

The cranberries and egg nog we can easily do Keto style. The rest of the meal...forget it. I'm knuckling down beforehand to enjoy the day tomorrow.

Yes I'll be available for sessions this week and weekend. But not tomorrow. I'll be too busy cooking and enjoying my friends. All I have to do is go in my playroom and close the door. My family has always known my profession.

I'm doing an update at noon today for social media but that's it until next Monday. My camera man has plans for this week too.

The new video is up at www.annekexposed.com and it's already a top seller. We will be updating with new content every two weeks for your pleasure. I hope you partake in the fun!

To all of you and your family and friends I send my very best wishes for a safe a blessed Thanksgiving.

Life is good. Despite this challenging year there is still much for which to be thankful!

Love and Hugs,

Anneke
