Hello My Friends,
It's been a scattered, semi-disorganized week for me. So my usual routine went out the window. The last 3 days were absolutely gorgeous weather and I walked every single one of them. Today is cooler and damp. A cold front moved in the middle of the night. But still 60's and rainy is a whole lot better than freezing you bottom off. I'll work out inside with weights and bands!
New Year's Eve was alone but I had walked over to my gal pal's in the afternoon and we shared a couple of glasses of Prosecco. She doesn't go anywhere either so it's always a safe, fun time. I made a lovely dinner for myself and was in bed by 10:30pm.
I should be able to get my first vaccine in the next week to ten days.. But right now there's only one drive through site in the county. You have to make an appointment and they get booked up fast. Sorry, but I am NOT impressed with this roll out at the state or federal level. Especially Florida. We are averaging 15+K new cases every day. But heaven forbid this state have a mask mandate. Thankfully every business I use requires them to get in the door.
Then in 28 days after I can have the second. Then in another 28 days I'm supposed to be immune to Covid OR if I catch it have a very mild case. So March sometime I should be safe but that doesn't mean I can go back to entertaining in person. The numbers have to go down and new friends have to have a health passport also or whatever you want to call what they come up with, also. Proof of being fully vaccinated. They will have to do something like that.
Still fairly quiet biz wise but it's the holiday season and to be expected. I think virtual will still be a mainstay and part of the new normal.
I am within 4 pounds of my goal weight. I did a happy dance in the bathroom the other day when I got off the scale. So close!!!
I am looking for a new website designer and a new photographer. I am so unhappy with the look of this last site and the way it operates. And the monthly cost! The trick is to find someone who not only designs an affordable attractive site but one who is around for service when you need it. As I well know, they are few and far between. So I have indicated a Magnificent Outcome in finding one. Read The Magic is you want to know what that is.
I'll film an social media update tomorrow and hopefully another for www.annekexposed.com on Friday. Cherries and Whipped Cream is selling really well. Send me your ideas for solo naughtiness. I'm running out of them.
All in all, 2020 was a miracle in many respects for me. So I've said adieu with thanks for the lessons learned, keeping my health, a beautiful new home, friends like you and a business that is still carrying on!
